A native of Washington, DC, Chris Saah currently resides in Montgomery County, Maryland and is the Chief Information Officer for Transwestern, a national full-service commercial real estate company. (www.transwestern.net) Chris’ team of 42 IT professionals serve over 1400 team members at 200 location throughout the U.S.
He has been married to Allyn Heck Saah for 26 years. Their daughter Anna is a graduate student studying counseling at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma where their son Andrew is an undergraduate student studying government. Chris also attended ORU (www.oru.edu) where he studied Old Testament Biblical Literature and met his wife Allyn, who was a librarian and faculty member at the university.
Chris’ prior careers have included being president of Saah Furniture Manufacturers, a family owned business which produced and retailed solid wood furniture and custom mill-work for 45 years in the Washington metro area. He also served as a pastor on the staff on the Vineyard Community Church in Anne Arundel county (www.vcccm.org)
He currently serves on the board of advisors for Realcomm (www.realcomm.com) and is a member of the DC chapter of the Society for Information Management.
Chris is an ordained pastor and certified to administer and interpret the Myer-Briggs Type Indicator.
Of middle eastern abstraction, Chris’ paternal grandparents were born in Ramallah, Palestine, Israel, and his maternal great grandparents were from Syria.
